At the start of a video conference on May 5, President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev expounded once more on the efforts in progress in our country to combat the coronavirus infection as well as on the disasters in Bukhara and Syrdarya regions.

President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev signed the decree “On measures to attract external assistance to support the population, budget, basic infrastructure and business entities during the coronavirus epidemic”.
Uzbekistan, along with a number of other countries in the world, is facing consequences of COVID-19 pandemic on the economy and social area, including on the lives of people in cities and regions.
