TASHKENT, October 23. /IA “Dunyo”/. President Shavkat Mirziyoyev today received the US delegation led by the administrator of the Agency for International Development (USAID) Samantha Power, a “Dunyo” information agency correspondent reports.

According to the press service of the head of our state, the American side is in our country to participate in the Ministerial Meeting of the countries of Central Asia and the United States on development issues.

Issues of further development of constructive and mutually beneficial bilateral cooperation were considered.

It should be noted that, together with USAID, projects in the field of healthcare, education, “green” energy, agribusiness and other areas have been and are being implemented in Uzbekistan.

During the conversation, an exchange of views took place on the practical implementation of the agreements reached during the summit of heads of state in the “C5+1” format on the sidelines of the session of the UN General Assembly in New York in September this year.
