{"id":6020,"date":"2026-03-17T16:52:57","date_gmt":"2026-03-17T14:52:57","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/gk-usbekistan.de\/?p=6020"},"modified":"2026-03-17T16:52:57","modified_gmt":"2026-03-17T14:52:57","slug":"%d1%84%d0%b5%d0%b2%d1%80%d0%b0%d0%bb%d1%8c-%d0%bf%d1%80%d0%be%d0%b4%d0%b5%d0%bc%d0%be%d0%bd%d1%81%d1%82%d1%80%d0%b8%d1%80%d0%be%d0%b2%d0%b0%d0%bb-%d0%b7%d0%b0%d0%bc%d0%b5%d1%82%d0%bd%d0%be%d0%b5","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/gk-usbekistan.de\/de\/2026\/03\/17\/%d1%84%d0%b5%d0%b2%d1%80%d0%b0%d0%bb%d1%8c-%d0%bf%d1%80%d0%be%d0%b4%d0%b5%d0%bc%d0%be%d0%bd%d1%81%d1%82%d1%80%d0%b8%d1%80%d0%be%d0%b2%d0%b0%d0%bb-%d0%b7%d0%b0%d0%bc%d0%b5%d1%82%d0%bd%d0%be%d0%b5\/","title":{"rendered":"February demonstrated a noticeable acceleration in business activity in Uzbekistan"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>The Business Activity Index\u00a0<\/strong><em>(BAI)<\/em><strong>, estimated by the Center for Economic Research and Reforms, reached 1124 points in February 2026, increasing by 12.4% compared with the previous month\u00a0<\/strong><em>(and by 24.2% compared with the same period last year).<\/em><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">In February of the current year, the following changes were observed across the BAI components:<\/p>\n<ul style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<li><em>the component reflecting the number of transactions on business entities\u2019 bank accounts increased by 22%;<\/em><\/li>\n<li><em>the intensity of raw material purchases on the commodity exchange rose by 10.6%;<\/em><\/li>\n<li><em>the component reflecting active business entities increased by 0.9%;<\/em><\/li>\n<li><em>the trademark component grew by 9.4%.<\/em><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">In February 2026, the BAI also increased in 13 regions compared with the previous month<em>.<\/em><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">In particular, notable growth was observed in Andijan region (44.8%), Syrdarya region (41.7%), Tashkent region (33.3%), and Kashkadarya region (28.2%).<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">At the same time, in the Republic of Karakalpakstan the indicator slightly declined by 0.5%, remaining at a moderate level.<\/p>\n<h2 style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Banking operations<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">During the reporting period, the number of interbank payment transactions reached 6,760.3 thousand, increasing by 1,220.5 thousand transactions (22%) compared with January 2026.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">An increase in interbank payment operations was recorded in 12 regions.
